6 Months Job Description Primary contact for day-to-day support calls and ticket system management. Research problems, contact vendors, oversee repairs, and ensure timely correction. Create production reports, update problem logs, and communicate progress and results with requestors. Provide first line support for PC and server hardware, desktop software, printers, peripherals, Biometrics, logon IDs, phone, security breaches, and general network administration. Manage building of PCs, installing printers, and cleaning data off used equipment prior to recycling. Research technology (hardware, software, licensing terms, etc.) as requested and install specialty hardware and software as needed. Prepare and maintain accurate and definitive documentation.
HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent required Associates degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience required. Minimum two years experience in PC support, both hardware and software required. Minimum one year experience in operation and maintenance of local area network required. LAN Network Admin certification a plus. Solid computer technology research skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications. Excellent customer service skills on phone or in person. Solid analysis and problem solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
